The Venus Rising Espresso House is the local coffee house owned and operated by the Butte Silver Bow Arts Foundation (BSBAF). All profits made at the Venus Rising Espresso House are used for BSBAF operational expenses, activities, and events. We would like to thank you for being a valued customer at the Venus Rising Espresso House, for supporting the BSBAF, and art in the community.

Exquisite coffee blends are served 7 days a week along with baked goods. WiFi wireless service is available to all customers and BSBAF members. Music and lounge areas provide a comfortable environment for students, adults, artists and tourists from around the world. Venus Rising Gift Shop offer unique retail items to all who venture here.


The Venus Rising has also expanded our service by providing a daily starving artist sandwich to compliment our delicious bakery goods. We are also offering Montana Tech students with an Digger ID 10% off. The Venus Rising offers free wireless internet access and a computer for our customers. Make the Venus Rising your place to study or for your next business meeting any day of the week.



The Venus Rising Espresso House offers a unique variety of specially blended coffees made by Montana Coffee Traders. The coffee beans are handpicked on the plantation from organically shade-grown fair-trade coffee plants. Our most popular “Venus Rising Blend” espresso is specially made for the Venus Rising Espresso House. Our herbal tea blends are made by Montana Coffee Traders under the label “Montana Tea & Spice”. These specialty herbal teas are mixed with rich black teas for a hearty breakfast and high-noon tea. We also offer freshly brewed black iced teas for your enjoyment. Juices, soft drinks, and spring waters are also available.


The Venus Rising Espresso House offers art exhibits, open mic nights, film series, literary and poetry readings, acoustic music, and drumming activities. To be included in and of these scheduled events, please contact the Venus Rising Espresso House, at (406) 723–1150.
